Megan is a 13-year-old teenage girl, who realises that she has psychic powers that others do not have. At first, she tried to talk to her mother about them, but with disastrous consequences, so she learned to keep quiet about them. However, some people did offer to help and an animal showed a special friendship, but they were not 'alive' in the normal sense of the word. They had passed on. Megan has three such friends: Wacinhinsha, her Spirit Guide, who had been Sioux in his last life on Earth; her maternal grandfather, Gramps and a huge Siberian tiger called Grrr. Wacinhinsha is extremely knowledgeable in all things spiritual, psychic and paranormal; her grandfather is a novice 'dead person' and Grrr can only speak Tiger, as one might imagine and most of that, of course is unintelligible to humans. In this episode in Megan's life, she is given a laptop computer and she discovers social media and how to set up a blog and use it. Megan's Followers refers to her followers on the Internet. Since she has just passed thirteen, her parents and the multi-media sites now allow her to use them, so she sets up Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts. Wacinhinsha teaches her about coomunications on a Spiritual level. See inside for details about Megan's other adventures to date.

Her biggest problems for the moment is finding a Teacher who can show her how to handle them properly. Another is that she doesn't know anyone who knows anything about Supernatural powers. In fact, her mother is violently against the Supernatural, as was her mother before her. The only people who seem willing to help her are dead, not that that makes any difference to Megan. They are among the first to recognize Jesus for who he really is. And, like us, they have a choice - to walk away from this challenging life of faith, or to embrace it joys, hardships, uncertainties, and all.Sometimes we all need to be shown what to do, and whom we follow often says as much about us as about the leader. The people in The Followers all look to Jesus to know what to do with their lives. But because of his presence and the changing work that his sacrifice creates in their lives, they know exactly where they are headed. The Followers included in this study are: Mary, Mary Magdalene, Stephen, Barnabas, Luke, and Paul. This small group study tells the stories of people from Scripture through a new lens exploring the mystery of faith with a literary touch. The Bible does not tell stories that are unrelated to us. It s stories are our stories, and we are the people reflected in its pages. But it can be difficult to draw a parallel between our contemporary lives and those of ancient people. The Named workbooks are specifically intended to help you see the familiar predicaments we face which are also seen in scripture, and to give you lenses through which we can see the implications of our actions and decisions. Become acquainted with the people identified by God in a story as particular as your own.Visit www.iamnamed.com for more information.
